It seems that Stephen King the horror writer is not a big fan of the Twilight series or writer Stephanie Meyer. King is quoted in a USA Weekend article say that Meyer cannot write worth a darn. He lumped her and J.K. Rowling of Harry Potter fame together, but said the big difference was that Rowling could write and Meyer could not.

Now I am sure Stephanie Meyer will not lose any sleep over what King had to say as she is doing quite well right now. Of course though having others rip your work apart is never any fun either. It will be interesting to see what kind of response that the Meyer camp gives if they give any at all.

Amazing No One Died

After watching the footage of Flight 1549 and everything they went through it was amazing to me that no lives were lost. You can credit the pilot for do a wonderful job and the crew as well. Rescue teams were there pretty fast as well which makes all the difference. It is still amazing to me, but I am glad no one died in this crash.

Hopefully we will be able to find out what went wrong so this does not happen again. At least no lives were lost and it looks like someone was watching over this flight. Called it a gift from God or whatever you want they were very lucky indeed.
